Inside the Rose Hips are achenes, which are a type of fruit with a dry wall and a single seed. Rose Hips contain vitamin D, vitamin E, essential fatty acids, antioxidant flavonoids, and are exceptionally high in vitamin C.

Rose hips can be used for herbal teas, jam, jelly, marmalade, syrup, beverages, candy, pies, and breads. To make a tea, pour 1 cup boiling water over 1 teaspoon of Rose Hips, cover and steep 3-5 minutes.
Medicinal Uses:
Rose Hips are known to be used as a blood purifier, for treatment of infections, colds, flus, and to be beneficial to bladder and kidneys.
